Whats the best gear to use to get your energy to 0 as fast as possible .. removing energy degen hexs?

Also, I like to use a armor boosting set in HA, I use the +5 enchant presearing sword with +5 armor mod and a gingerbread shield... is there a better shield than the gingerbread that can be used here...such as better armor (does a shield with 16 armor give u any armor without any str or tact?)

Umm, Gold/Green/Collectors Shields will give you 8 armor if you don't meet the requirement. You also get all the other effects from the Shield.

I'd quite honestly go with another shield instead of the Gingerbread shield. I think +30 Health and +10 AL vs slashing or piercing or an element, or -2 damage against physical while enchanted is worth the trade off of 2 less overall armor. Especailly since it's not that hard to switch shields depending on the match you're in for maximum benefit, assuming you go out and buy all the shields you may need that is.

Like dgb said, you want to use a 15% -5e sword or axe and Frozen/Tattered/Forgotten Fan. This combination hides 7e while also giving +60 hp and +5 armor.

It depends how much you're running on your main set, actually(at least the way you're looking at it, as hiding energy off of your main set). If you're running a +5 Axe/Sword and a +12 Focus, it hides 24 energy. If you're running a HoD Axe/Charr Sword and a +12 Focus, it hides 19 energy. If you're running a Charr Sword and a Shield like the OP mentioned, it hides 7.

Like Zui said, it hides 7e, but it can swing a larger amount depending on what other swaps you have. Swapping from +5e sword and +12 offhand, it gives a swing of 24e. If you switch from negative energy to positive set with +5e sword and +27e offhand, it swings 39e.
